100% Cabernet Sauvignon from first vines planted in 1972.
Classic Medoc vinification – long fermentation and maceration (20 days at least) in stainless steel tank. No filtration.
21 September - 23 September (3 days).
Dry winter and spring, followed by an exceedingly hot summer and just the right amount of rain in August meant we were able to pick grapes at an ideal maturity.
24 months in oak barrel: 12 months in new oak barrel and 12 months in two years old barrel.
